Obituary of Geravia Hannah

Geravia Hannah, (nee Woody) 91, of Newtonville, NJ passed away on Tuesday November 19, 2013 in Hammonton Rehabilitation Center. Born in Itmann, WV she lived in Newtonville for 58 years. Mrs. Hannah was a retired nurse and previously worked at Newcomb Hospital and Ancora State Hospital. Mrs. Hannah was a member of Bethel Holy Temple Church in Newtonville and was a member of the Martin Luther King Senior Citizens in Newtonville. She was predeceased by her husband Reverend Elbert Hannah and two grandchildren. Mrs. Hannah is survived by her five children, Artie Blunt of Vineland, Loretta Brown of Atlanta, GA, Elbert O. Hannah of Williamstown, Jerry R. Hannah of Galloway, William E. Hannah of Buena, five sisters, Marva Jurkins of Buena Vista Twp., Shirley Woody, Janet Evans, Venus Forbey all of Pleasantville; Patricia Nash Of Buena, 14 grandchildren, 29 great grand children and 5 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral Services will be held Monday 11:00am in Bethel Holy Temple Church, 8th St., Newtonville, NJ where a viewing will be held fro 10:00am to 11:00am. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Cemetery, Newtonville.
