Obituary of Laura P. Schleyer

Laura "Pat" Schleyer, (nee Capelli) 73, of Hammonton passed away on Monday at the Hammonton Center after a brief stay. Born in Hammonton she was a lifelong resident there. She owned Charlie's Clam Bar in the Berlin Farmers Market. Mrs. Schleyer was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Laura May Capelli, and her grandson, Ryan James Schleyer. She was a beloved wife for fifty six years, and beloved mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Leonard Schleyer Jr., one daughter, Laurie Schleyer, two sons, Richard Schleyer and Leonard Schleyer III and his wife Kimberly all of Hammonton, one brother, Charles Capelli of Vineland, one sister, Frances Weber and her husband Edward of Hammonton, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held Friday, November 15, 2013 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral services will take place at 8:00 PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hammonton Cancer Foundation, PO Box 1066, Hammonton, NJ 08037, which assists local families fighting cancer or to Christian Camp Haluwasa, 377 Ehrke Road, Hammonton, NJ 08037.
