Obituary of Jeanette LaMotta

Jean LaMotta,(nee Penza) 87 of Pine Hill and formerly of Hammonton passed away peacefully Sunday in John F. Kennedy Health Systems in Stratford. Born in Hammonton she was a resident of Pine Hill for 15 years. She was a retired machine operator with Consolidated Pants of Hammonton. Mrs. LaMotta was a former member of the Hammonton Senior Citizens and the Hammonton Hawks Association. She was recently predeceased by her husband of 66 years Louis B. LaMotta. Mrs. LaMotta is survived by her son Lee LaMotta and his partner Mark Slashinski of Pine Hill, her brother Tom Penza and his wife Viola of Egg Harbor, and her caregiver Maria Ortiz whom the family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks too. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 10:00am in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Joseph's N. Third St., Hammonton. Burial will follow in Greenmount Cemetery. A viewing will be held Friday 7:00pm - 9:00pm and again on Saturday 8:30 am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton.
