Margarita Valentino, 75 of Hammonton died Saturday at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Isabella, Puerto Rico she has been a Hammonton resident for fifty seven years. Previously she worked for Kessler Clothing Company in Hammonton. She was a member of the Amalgamated Clothing Worker's Union, St. Joseph's R.C. Church, and the Crusillo at the church. She is survived by her beloved husband, Manuel Valentino, three daughters, Daisy Gazzara and her husband James, Margarita Valentino all of Hammonton, and Linda Dedrick of Voorhees, four grandchildren, Christina and Jaime Mercado of Folsom, Elena and Ray Meade, Erik and Sheila Pabon, and Stephanie Bermudez all of Hammonton, four great children, Steven, Matthew, Kayshla, and Erik Jr., one sister, Josefina Misla of Florida, three brothers, Elias Roman and Manuel Antonio Roman both of Puerto Rico and Jorge Roman of North Carolina. A viewing will be held Wednesday 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM and Thursday after 9:00 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish at St. Joseph's Church, N. Third and French Streets in Hammonton. Entombment will follow at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton.
