Obituary of Augusta Allen

Augusta L. Allen, 23, of Newtonville, NJ passed away on Sunday at her home. Born in Pomona, NJ she was a lifelong resident of Newtonville. She was currently enrolled at Atlantic Cape Community College. Augusta was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church of Vineland, where she was an active member of Thrivent. She would prepare lunches every weekend and bring them to the homeless shelter where other Thrivent members were working. She also helped with the Vacation Bible School held at the Church. Augusta was a 2008 Graduate of Buena Regional High School, where she played field hockey. She was predeceased by her father Richard W. Allen. Augusta is survived by her mother, Lisette P. Allen, her brother Tyler Allen of Newtonville, her maternal grandparents, Ted and Louise Ensminger of Woodbridge, VA; her paternal grandparents, Dale and Helen Allen of Leesburg, FL, her aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral Services will be held Friday 11:00am in Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2384 E. Landis Ave., Vineland. A viewing will be held Thursday 7:00pm until 9:00pm at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, NJ. Burial will be private. Memorial Donations maybe made to the American Heart Association, 2550 US Highway 1, N.
