Obituary of Peter A. Sparta

Peter A. Sparta, 47, of Hammonton passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly. Born in Camden he was a lifelong resident of Hammonton. He was a 1984 graduate of Hammonton High School. Pete enjoyed playing pool and he was a member of the A.P.A. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was the owner of The Chicken Store in South Philadelphia for many years. He was predeceased by his mother, Josephine C. Sparta and his sister, Annette Carrelli. He is survived by his wife, Jan Sparta, his three children, Rachael Sparta, Peter A. Sparta II, and Robert Sparta, his father, Peter Sparta all of Hammonton, his granddaughter, Aryanna Sparta, his nieces, Holly Ann Carrelli and Allison Carrelli, and his great niece, Giavanna Currington . A viewing will be held Tuesday, July 23, 2013 from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday 11:30 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Martin DePorres, 129 Park Avenue in Hammonton. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Deborah Hospital Foundation, 212 Trenton Road, Browns Mills, NJ 08015.
