Obituary of Ernest R. Geroni

Ernest R. Geroni Sr, 76 of Elm passed away on Wednesday at Virtua Health Systems in Berlin. Born in Elm he was a lifelong resident there. Mr. Geroni served in the U.S. Army, and he was a founding member of the Elm Volunteer Fire Company. He was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Petra Geroni, and his brother, Gerry "Wootsie" Geroni. He is survived by his beloved wife, Anna Marie Geroni (nee Perna), his son, Ernest R. Geroni Jr., and his wife Michelle all of Elm, his sister, Mary Ann Delfino of West Berlin, his sister in law, Katherine Geroni of Reigelsville, PA, his aunt Rita Geroni and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Anthony of Padua, 285 Route 206 in Hammonton, where a viewing will be held from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hammonton.
