Obituary of Evelyn Barresi

Evelyn Barresi, 84 passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 11 surrounded by family and friends after a brief illness. Born in Hammonton, Evelyn was a lifelong resident there. She formerly worked for Kessler Clothing Shop of Hammonton as a machine operator and she also worked at Kessler Hospital in the dietary department. She was predeceased by her husband Frank A. Barresi, her three brothers, David Santora, Harry Santora and Anthony "Ben" Santora. Evelyn is survived by her daughter Karen Barresi-Henry and her Fiance, Mike Braun of Hammonton, adopted daughter Denise Plavchak, grandchildren Melissa, Eric and Craig Plavchak, eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday 11:30am in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Anthony of Padua 285 Rte. 206, Hammonton where a viewing will be held from 9:30am until 11:30am. Burial will follow in Greenmount Cemetery.
