Obituary of Jose A. Contes

Jose A. Contes, 57, of Hammonton passed away Monday at his residence. Born in Arecibo, PR he lived in Hammonton for many years. He was a lead man in the maintenance department at Viking Yachts in New Gretna. Mr. Contes was a member of the Spanish Pentecostal Assembly of God Church in Hammonton. He is survived by his loving wife, Rosa M. Contes (nee Gandia); three sons, Jose F. Contes, Sr., Danisel Contes, Benjamin Contes; his mother in law, Rosalina Mercado, his father in law, Felipe Gandia, eight grandchildren, four brothers, five sisters and his sister in law and brother in law, Erasmo and Iris Prunes. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday 7:00pm at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, where a viewing will be held 6:00pm until time of services. Burial will be in Florida, Puerto Rico. Memorial Donations may be made to the family.
