Clint Combs, 75, of Hammonton passed away on Friday at his residence. Born in Buckhorn, KY he lived in Hammonton for 70 years. He was a retired truck driver for Mathis Construction of Tuckerton and he also worked for M.W. Patriot in Hammonton. Clint attended Hammonton High School and served in the US Army Reserves and was honorably discharged in 1962. Known to most as Pop he loved working in his garden, riding his tractor, chasing after the grandkids, fishing in the pond and hitting golf balls. Mr. Combs is survived by his wife, Mary A. Combs (nee DePoy), his children, Diane Weiss and her husband Tom of Mays Landing, David Combs and his wife Kristi of Ovilla, TX, Denise VanSciver of Mays Landing, Dianne Ford and her husband Leonard of Mays Landing, Ken Stark and his wife Eliene of Reno, NV, Karen Masi and her husband Steve of Hammonton; one brother, William Combs of Wyoming; two sisters, Mary Leach of Hammonton; Lela Mae Bellace of Sweetwater, 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchild. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday 11:30am in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Anthony of Padua, 285 Route 206, Hammonton. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 9:00am -11:00am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton. Memorial Donations maybe made to the Alzheimer's Association 25 Dolphin Ave., Northfield, NJ 08225.
