Obituary of Rene J. Madison

Rene J. Madison (nee Chater) 87 of Folsom passed away on Tuesday at Virtua Health Systems in Berlin. Born in Calcutta, India she has been a resident of Folsom since 1972. Mrs. Madison served in the Women's Auxiliary Corps in the British Indian Army during World War II. Before retiring she worked for the Tropicana Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City. She is survived by four sons and their spouses, Charles H. and Mary Madison of Delaware, Paul and Carol Madison of Folsom, Edward and Joan Madison of Folsom, and Alan and Lisa Madison of Vineland, twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. A visitation will be held Friday, February 15, 2013 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral services will take place at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Animal Welfare Association, 509 Centennial Blvd., Voorhees, NJ 08043.
