Obituary of Betty R. Pasterino

Betty R. Pasterino (nee Holmes) 86 of Hammonton passed away on Monday at home. Born in Twickenham, England she has lived in Hammonton for sixty six years. Mrs. Pasterino formerly worked for Whitehall Laboratories in Hammonton. She was a volunteer for St. Martin dePorres Church bingo and she donated cakes for their bakes sales. She enjoyed doing needle point, sewing, collecting stamps, and knitting hats for preemie babies which she donated to local hospitals. Mrs. Pasterino was predeceased by her husband Joseph A. Pasterino and her brother John Holmes. She is survived by her four children, David Pasterino and his wife Barbara of Torrance, CA, Carol Spinetti and her husband Page of Rocklin, CA, Joseph Pasterino and his wife Pamela and John Pasterino all of Hammonton, her six grandchildren, Rachel, Nicholas, Justin Boyer, Joseph, Stephen and Ryan, and her two brothers, Peter and David Holmes both of England. A viewing will be held Saturday October 20, 2012 from 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 10:30 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Martin dePorres, 129 Park Avenue in Hammonton. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Mays Landing.
