Obituary of Francisco Torres

Francisco Torres, Jr. 38, of Villalba, Puerto Rico and formerly of Williamstown passed away Saturday in Puerto Rico. Born in Newark, NJ he was a graduate of Vineland High School. He formerly owned and operated Torres Transmissions and previously worked at Northfield Transmission, Delta Auto in Atlantic City and Apollo Auto Sales in Clayton. Francisco was an amateur boxer and was a member of various different Pool Leagues in the area. He was predeceased by his brother Francisco Torres. Francisco is survived by his parents, Francisco and Maria Torres; his son, Justin Staropoli, his daughter, Madelyn Torres, his companion, Chenina Diaz; his siblings, Elizabeth Torres and her husband Jose M. Santiago, Luz Rodriguez and her husband Angel Monche, Ana Rodriguez, Margarita Torres, Nilsa Echevarria and her husband Eliezer, Sonia Torres and husband Jose Rodriguez, Betsy Torres and Jenny Torres and her husband Sebastian Angel. Funeral Services will be held Friday 11:30am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton where a viewing will be held from 10:30am until 11:30am. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hammonton.
