Obituary of Matthew Ingemi

Matthew Ingemi, 95 of Hammonton passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at home. Born in Hammonton he was a lifelong resident there. Mr. Ingemi was an U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He was a former member of the American Legion Post No. 186. Before retiring many years ago he worked as a cement finisher for the Cement Masons Local No. 699 of Camden for twenty five years. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, and baseball but his greatest joy was spending time with his family. He was predeceased by his wife, Betty Ingemi (nee Caputo). He is survived by one daughter, Joanna Massarelli and her husband John, three sons, Matthew Ingemi and his wife Louise, Rocco Ingemi and Joseph Ingemi all of Hammonton, four grandchildren, Leanna Fichetola and her husband Rocco of Hammonton, Angela Massarelli of Cherry Hill, Matthew C. Ingemi and Gabriella Ingemi both of Hammonton, two brothers, Frank Ingemi and his wife Marie and Domenic Ingemi all of Hammonton, three sisters, Rose Chappine and Anne DiFilippo both of Hammonton and Jeanette Hughes of Oklahoma. A viewing will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2012 from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Anthony of Padua, 285 Route 206 in Hammonton, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hammonton.
