Obituary of Joseph Napoliello

Joseph Napoliello, 92 of Cedar Brook, NJ passed away Sunday at the Heritage Assisted Living. Born in Cedar Brook, he lived most of his life there, he also lived in Berlin and in Hammonton. He was a World War II Veteran, first serving in the Army then the Marines where he achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. Mr. Napoliello was the Chief Engineer at Trenton Psychiatric Hospital. He also was formerly employed at Ancora Psychiatric Hospital. He was an avid golfer and a longtime member of the Buena Vista Country Club, and the over 80' s at the Frog Rock Country Club. He was a former member of the V.F.W. Post No. 1026 in Hammonton, the Cedar Brook Gun Club, Cedar Brook Fire and Rescue Squad, and the Winslow Twp. Board of Education, where he formerly served as Vice President . Mr. Napoliello was predeceased by his wife, Angelina Napoliello (nee Mazzeo). He is survived by his two daughters, Angela Napoliello-Ivory and her husband Charles of Woolwich Township, Joann Garvey of Hammonton, one son, Joseph I. Napoliello of San Bruno, CA, two brothers, Steven Napoliello (Gloria) of Cinnaminson, Frederick Napoliello (Bonnie) of Cedar Brook, one sister, Mary Aiello of Hammonton, 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A viewing will be held Wednesday 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday 10:30am at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Anthony of Padua, 285 Route 206, Hammonton. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Cedar Brook.
