Obituary of Zachary Collins

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Zachary Collins, a beloved son, brother, and friend, who left this world far too soon. Zachary's light shone brightly during his time with us, and his memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. Zachary was a true goofball, always ready with a joke or a playful gesture that could light up any room. He had an uncanny ability to make people laugh and feel good about themselves, spreading joy wherever he went. His kind-hearted nature was evident in everything he did, always putting others before himself and offering a helping hand without hesitation. A passionate cook, Zachary found immense joy in the kitchen. Whether he was experimenting with new recipes or perfecting his signature dishes, he poured his heart into every meal he prepared, sharing his love through food. Zachary's soul was deeply connected to the ocean. He loved surfing, feeling the thrill of the waves beneath his board, and the serenity of the beach, where he found peace and inspiration. The sea was his sanctuary, a place where he could be himself, free and alive. Zachary also faced challenges in his life, struggling with mental illness. Despite his battles, he continued to spread love, laughter, and kindness to those around him. Though his time with us was far too short, Zachary's legacy is one of love, laughter, and generosity. He leaves behind a family who adored him, countless friends who cherished his company, and a world that is a little less bright without his infectious spirit. A celebration of Zachary's life will be held on his birthday March 1st, 2025, between 1 pm and 3 pm at Carnesale Funeral Home Hammonton NJ where we will come together to share memories, laughter, and tears, just as Zachary would have wanted. In honor of Zachary's love for the beach, attendees are invited to wear casual, beach-inspired attire. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity related to mental health, in Zachary's memory, to help support others who face similar challenges. Rest easy, Zachary. May the waves carry you home, and may your laughter echo in the hearts of all who loved you.
