Obituary of Angelina Bates

Angelina Bates (nee DiGregorio), 95 of Buena Vista Township passed away peacefully on Friday, December 27, 2024 at home. Born in Philadelphia, she was raised in South Philadelphia and has lived in the Collings Lakes area since 1958. She enjoyed reading, playing scrabble, suduku and word searches. She had an amzaing green thumb and tended to her many plants that some were 30 plus years old. She also loved hanging out with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and in her later years she enjoyed going to Caring Inc. in Mays Landing. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Bates, her son, Ronald Bates, her parents, Joseph and Mary DiGregorio and four brothers and one sister. She is survived by two children, Joseph Bates (Sue), and Laura Cushings (Austin), four grandchildren, Brenda (Wayne), Jeanette, Steven and Jolene (Jason), four great grandchildren, Conner, Kylie, Colton , Corey and many others who considered her GG. A viewing will be held on Friday, January 3, 2024 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral services will take place at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park, 5124 Harding Highway, Mays Landing, NJ 08330. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Caring Inc. 14 S. California Avenue, Atlantic City, NJ 08401.
