Obituary of James E O'Mara

James E. O'Mara, 85, of Waterford Works, NJ passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 5, 2024, in the Samaritan Center at Voorhees. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he lived in Waterford Works for 47 years. Mr. O'Mara was a customer service manager for Rohm and Haas Chemical Company. He was a loyal fan of the Phillies and Eagles and enjoyed watching the games with his wife, Georgette.

James was predeceased by his siblings, Patricia O'Mara, Frances O'Brien and her husband Charles, Olga Frew and her husband Warren, Rita Gailey and her husband Frank, Jack O'Mara and his wife Agnes, Betty Flynn and her husband Vince, Robert O'Mara and his brother-in-law, Mickey McPoyle.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Georgette O'Mara (nee Nothe); his two daughters, Cindy Christon and Cathy Reilly and her husband Mike; his grandchildren, Amanda Christon (Julian), Morgan Reilly, Hailey Christon, Scott Reilly (Dominique) and his great grandaughter, Viviana. James is also survived by his sister Dolores McPoyle, sister-in-law Peggy O'Mara, his grand puppies, Bella and Minnieboo and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Thursday, December 12, 2024, 12:00PM until 1:30PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, NJ, where a Life Celebration will begin at 1:30PM.
