Maxcine Halliburton, 73, of Hammonton, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 13, 2024. She was born in Brooklyn, NY to the Late Claude and Pearl Williams. Maxcine formerly worked as a Secretary for the City of New York. She loved the arts, watching classic movies, reading her Bible and talking to others about Jesus. For many years she was an attendee of Times Square Church in New York City. During that time, she would often organize groups of volunteers to go to The Port Authority Bus Terminal on 42nd Street to feed the homeless & tell them about the love of Christ. Maxcine was very much into holistic health and nutrition, and she enjoyed giving advice to others about it. Her favorite colors were turquoise, coral & lavender. She loved elegant fashion and clothes brought her a lot of joy as did flowers, butterflies, nature and being outdoors. Maxcine loved her family and looked forward to family visits & FaceTime calls with them, their talks truly made her day. She had a genuine concern for others, caring deeply for everyone she met. She is survived by her loving family including her daughter Rhonda, her son-in-law Stan, her granddaughter Akasha as well as other relatives and friends.
