Obituary of Samuel B. Totora

Samuel B. Totora, Sr., 85, of Winslow passed away Monday in Virtua-West Jersey Hospital Voorhees. Born in Hammonton he was a lifelong area resident. Mr. Totora was a clothing cutter for Wm. B. Kessler Clothing Shop in Hammonton and he was also a self-employed farmer, notably known as "The Apple Farmer" at Sampson's Farms. He was a member of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union and the Winslow United Methodist Church. He was an avid hunter. Mr. Totora is survived by his wife of 64 years, Caroline. K. Totora (nee Sampson); his six children, Grace Bertino of Hammonton, Darlene Ehrlich (Hank) of Vineland, Donna Totora of Winslow, Samuel B. Totora, Jr. (Karen) of Winslow, Mary Wendling (Joe) of Newfield, Joann Lynn (Nick) of Oviedo, FL; one sister, Jeannette Giralo, one sister in law, Antoinette Totora both of Folsom, 12 grandchildren, Robert S. Totora, Diana Robinson, Cherilyn Rosenberg, Dawn Bertino, Carolyn Madison, Christopher, Matthew, Joshua and Justin Totora, Jason and Jeremy Wendling; Sofia Lynn and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Friday 11:00am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, where a viewing will be held from 9:30am until 11:00am. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial Donations may be made to the Winslow United Methodist Church, PO Box 131, Winslow, NJ 08095.
