Dear Charlie, Billy, & Mary, My sister Gina & I were sorry to hear of you dad’s passing. We recall my mom’s (Marion Marino Venckus) fond memories of her cousin “Sonny.” She was so proud of his accomplishments. They grew up together in Jersey City on Roosevelt Avenue. All the cousins in one multi family house. You can imagine the stories. When my mom moved to the Jersey Shore, she and boudin Marion Corolla Bayer would visit your dad and he would treat them to lunch. They did this quite frequently and the Marion’s enjoyed visiting with him very much. My mom said he was so smart and wise. We did meet you many years ago at your Aunt Connie & Uncle John’s family reunions in Mahwah. We also remember going to Billy’s Graduation at West Point. A little more recent I temember my mom saying she went to Bobby’s Wedding. We offer our sincere sympathy and prayers to you and your families.
