Joan L. Gregg Obituary

Joan L. Gregg, 65, of Hammonton, passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness. Born in Vineland, she was raised in Hammonton and spent most of her life there. Joan was a casino cage manager and throughout her career worked at Wind Creek Casino as well as Showboat and the Golden Nugget. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Gloria J. Gregg, and her companion George Robert Sainson. Joan is survived by her two sons, Shawn Peacock and his fiancée, Natalie Leonard; Joseph Lake and his wife Lacey; her stepson, Jon Sainson and his wife Yarelys and their children, Yomar and Yonah; her sister, Gloria Jean Fox, her niece Pamela Ingemi and her husband Anthony, and her great nieces and nephews, Scott, Alex, Meghan and Cassidy.


A visitation will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2024, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations are requested to the Humane Society of Atlantic County 1401 Absecon Blvd. Atlantic City, NJ 08401.
