Luz Diaz, 56, of Hammonton, NJ passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Galloway. Born in Hammonton, she was a lifelong resident. Luz formerly worked at Kessler Memorial Hospital as a phlebotomist and for Virtua West Jersey Health System as a multi-skilled technician. She had a generous heart and was always willing to help others anyway she could. She never let her illnesses get in the way of helping others. Luz was predeceased by her father Luis Antonio Diaz-Colon. She is survived by her two sons, Luis Antonio Diaz; Christopher Ricca, her mother Justina Diaz, her "adopted son" Izaiah X Goode; three sisters, Marisol Diaz, Maria Theresa Diaz-Torres and Madeline Diaz.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Friday, August 9, 2024 11:00 AM in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Joseph's 226 French St., Hammonton. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. A viewing will be held Friday 9:00 AM -10:30 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street Hammonton, NJ 08037
