Harry A. "Buster". Jacobs, 64 of Hammonton passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Kindred Hospital in Rahway, NJ. Born in Vineland he was a lifelong resident of Hammonton. Harry had worked for the Atlantic County Utilities Authority in Atlantic City. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, crabbing and trapping. He also enjoyed making wine, sausage, prosciutto, canning, gardening, and raising pigs, cattle, goats and chickens.
He was predeceased by his parents, Harry S. and Dorothy (nee Zucconi) Jacobs. He is survived by two daughters, Amanda Janiszewski (Phillip), and Tara Jacobs, two grandchildren, Phillip Janiszewski Jr., and Juliette Janiszewski, two sisters, Sherry Amendolia and Lisa Klassman, his nieces and nephews, John Amendolia (Janelle), Joseph Amendolia (Holly), Carter Klassman and Abby Klassman, great nephews, Luke Amendolia and Cameron Amendolia and many cousins and friends.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to help with funeral expense c/o Amanda Janiszewski, 2125 Elwood Road, Hammonton, NJ 08037.
