Gary “Gebo” S Wainwright Obituary

Gary S. “Gebo” Wainwright, 69, of Berlin, NJ passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, May 4, 2024. Gary was born in Philadelphia, PA and has lived in the Atco and Berlin area for twenty years. He had worked as a pipefitter for Klipper Construction in Newtown, PA. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, Premier League Soccer, classic cars, and going to the Atco Speedway.


He was predeceased by his son, Michael Wainwright, and his sister, Jessica Wainwright. He is survived by his beloved wife, Michelle "Shelly" Wainwright (nee Stingle), three children, Stephanie Morris (Mike), Gary Wainwright, Jr. (Chrissy), Jesse Wainwright (Nicole), one brother, Bill Wainwright (Kate), two sisters, Sharon Gager (Troy), Sue Bolton (Tom), six grandchildren and one great grandchild.


A Celebration of Gary's life will be held on Saturday May 11, 2024 from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Illiano’s Restaurant, 705 12th Street in Hammonton.
