Charles G. Maurer, 64 of Hammonton passed away at home on Sunday, April 21, 2024. Born on May 4, 1959 in Hammonton he was a lifelong resident there. He loved life and enjoyed his family and friends. He loved Nascar, old tv shows, traveling to Florida and many other places with his family. He loved his dogs Snoopy and Lucky.

Charlie especially loved his niece and nephew as if they were his own children, as he did his great nieces and nephew. He always had a Big Smile and thought of other's before himself. Many thanks to his Doctors who he loved and trusted Dr. Jung, Jenna Vanmeter and Dr. Sanyal.

He was predeceased by his parents, Charles E. Maurer and Anna E. (Murray) Maurer. He will be deeply missed by his sister and her husband, Wendy Vandervort (Maurer) and James J. Vandervort III, his nieces, Virginia Orme and her husband, Todd Orme, great niece, Emma Orme, great nephew, Benjamin Orme, nephew, James J. Vandervort IV, and his wife Joanal, great nieces, Lillian Vandervort, and Charlotte Vandervort.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where service of remembrance will be held at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery, 124 S. First Road in Hammonton.
