Grace Marie Houser (Mortelliti), 93, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 1, 2024 with her family by her side. Born in Hammonton, NJ she was one of eight children. She enjoyed the last five years living with her daughter Linda and her husband Paul, and with her grand puppies. One of Grace's greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid bowler into her early 70's. She recently enjoyed spending time at the bowling alley with family and friends as well as enjoying Country Line Dancing and crocheting. Grace managed to travel throughout her life. She recently visited LAS Vegas, Reno and Florida as well as annual visits to Ocean City, Maryland. She enjoyed the occasional boat ride with family as well.
Grace is survived by her daughter, Linda (Paul) of Newark; her grandchildren Staci (Dan), Jennifer, John (Diana); her great grandchildren Tyler, Nicole, Hunter, Breyannah, Connor, Aaron, Demian, Jolennah, and Makennah and her sister Louise DeCamp. In addition to her parents, and husband Howard she was predeceased by four sisters and two brothers.
A viewing will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024 from 10:30am until 11:30am at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, with funeral services immediately following. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hammonton.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2024 from 11:00am until 2:00pm at Mick's Event Hall, 902 East Pulaski Highway, Elkton, MD 21921,
