Lela Mae Bellace (nee Combs), 88 of Sweetwater passed away at home on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. Born in Buckhorn, Kentucky she was resident of Sweetwater for sixty four years. Before retiring she worked at Atlantic County Institute of Technology in Mays Landing.
She was predeceased by her husband Michael A. Bellace Sr., her seven siblings, Colburn Combs, Carl Combs, Clint Combs, William Combs, David Combs, Grace Rasmussen and Mary Leach.
She is survived by four children, Bruce Bellace Sr. (Donna), Michael A. Bellace Jr. (Nita), Patricia Jensen (Ken) and Sharon McCullough (Wayne), thirteen grandchildren and twenty four great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S, Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery, 124 S. First Road in Hammonton.
