Gejtana Theuma Obituary

Gejtana Theuma, 92, of Hammonton passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, March 17, 2024. Born in Paola, Malta she lived in the United States since 1971. She formerly worked as a seamstress at Pembroke Clothing Co., and Ubia Sportwear. Gejtana loved her family and enjoyed doing things for them and with them. She was a great cook and enjoyed gardening very much. She was a devout Catholic and prayed the rosary several times a day. She was predeceased by her husband Emmanuel Theuma and son in law Tai Wilkerson. Gejtana was very loved and will be greatly missed!

She is survived by her three children, Veronica Perez and her husband Lou, Mary Wilkerson and her husband Ed; David Theuma and his wife Theresa, her grandchildren, Louie Perez, Christine Perez, David Wilkerson, Tanya Corcoran (Dominic), David Theuma, Rachel Theuma; her great grandchildren, Emma and Evelyn Perez, Tai and Evan Corcoran, Nora Wilkerson, and Ruby Parker.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, March 22, 2024, 1:00 PM in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Joseph’s. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. A viewing will be held Friday from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton.
