I couldn’t believe last Christmas would be the last seeing you. I thought we would have more time, time to heal, time for closure, time to put things in perspective. For so many things to look forward to as you’d enjoy many more holidays, as you would cheer on the kid's basketball games, as to see you be happy and proud on your daughter’s graduations, as to see you be happy to meeting your new granddaughter, I could imagine you would be there making face at the baby’s yawn…
May you rest in peace in heaven.

Cousin Paul…..lots of memories when we were kids, wish there was time to create a few more. I remember you and I teaming up to slaughter Glen and Jimmy in snowball fights. I recall you and I raking leaves at Grandpa's house and you kind enough to make sure I always got the good rake……until it dawned on me the guy with the good rake was required to do the lions share of the raking! Remember picnics at my Dads house in Clark. All good stuff! Gonna miss you ! Rob Fredericks

Paul,
Because we are eight years apart in age, we obviously were at different stages of our lives as we grow up on Farmingdale. I can remember seeing you on your green Honda 90 at the corner of east and west Passaic avenue (Yes, the only place in the world were east and west meet at right angles) while I walked home from grammar school.
You took me (probably very reluctantly) to my first concert, that being the beach boys at Giant Stadium, along with Glen and your friend Keith. I remember getting a bad sunburn for which mom likely blamed you.
You were always there to help me with my math homework. But the only problem was that I was more confused after you "helped me" than I was before we started.
You did help me get into Ithaca College, not by helping me with my application but rather by driving the 4 plus hours to Ithaca on December 30, 1982, to visit the college (which was closed for the semester break). I recall as we stood atop of the campus looking out at the hills and Cayuga Lake, you telling me that if I didn't go to school there, then you would. And the cross-country skiing lessons you gave me paid off, as I explored the woods that surrounded the campus.
In the past three years we have been closer than we have ever been. While I wish we had many more years together, I am grateful for the time we had together. I will miss our Saturday morning breakfast/brunches.
Miss you.
