Obituary of Michael A. Cappuccio

Michael A. "Pooch" Cappuccio, 67, of Hammonton passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024 with his loving family by his side. Born in Elmer he was a lifelong Hammonton resident. He was a Graduate of St. Joseph's High School Class of 1974, and earned an associated degree at Atlantic Community College in Physical Therapy. He was a delivery driver for several different businesses in the area. Pooch was a musician at heart playing the bass guitar for several bands. Music was his passion but spending time with his family brought him the most joy. He was predeceased by his parents, Carl and Joanne Cappuccio. Pooch is survived by his sisters, Rose "Lynnie" Scaffidi and her husband John, Carol "Carrie" Ciance; Barbara "Bobbie" Amendolia and her husband Peter, his brother, Carl J. "Pepper" Cappuccio, 8 nieces and nephews; 10 great nieces and great nephews and many cousins and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, March 5, 2024 10:00 am in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Joseph's 226 French St., Hammonton. Entombment will follow in Greenmount Cemetery, Hammonton. A visitation will be held Monday, March 4, 2024, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Carnesale Funeral Home 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, NJ.
