George and I were friends in 1958 at Lawrence Junior High School. We would walk down Princeton Pike after school from sports practice. George was a good friend whose friendship I valued. I was sorry to hear of his passing but feel grateful to have seen his obituary today, it brought back treasured memories. I also had the privilege of serving my country, but in the Air Force. Living in Cape May Court House makes it hard to connect with old friends. Rest easy, my friend and heartfelt condolences to the family. God bless you all. Raymond E Batz
