Paul A. Wakefield, 62 of Mays Landing passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Born in Weymouth he was a lifelong resident of the Weymouth and Mays Landing area. Paul was a heavy equipment operator and also did carpentry and handyman work. He had worked at Atlantic Blueberry Co. and as a carpenter and different trades over the years. Paul was an outdoorsman and an avid hunter.

He is survived by his daughter, Simone Wakefield, one brother, Christopher Zimmerman, two sisters, Elizabeth Dillon, and Linda Spolitino, four nephews and three nieces.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral services will take place at 7:00 PM. Private entombment will be held at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton.
