Obituary of Joseph P. Caracciolo, Jr.

Joseph P. Caracciolo Jr, 71 of Washington Township passed away at home on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. Joseph was born in Hammonton, was raised in Waterford, lived for many years in Hammonton before moving to Washington Township two years ago. He has worked as a pit boss at Resort's International Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City and prior to that he worked as Ancora State Hospital. He attended Edgewood Regional School. He enjoyed hunting, being a HAM radio operator, working out at the gym, doing karate and riding his motorcycle. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph P. Caracciolo Sr. and Mary Caracciolo (nee Falco), He is survived by his daughter, Maryann Caracciolo (John Franzosa), his son, Joseph Caracciolo Jr. (Cindy), four grandchildren, David Roby, Eva Roby, Brandon Roby and Joseph Franzosa, two great grandchildren, David and Amiya, one brother, Robert Caracciola (Marita), three sisters, Loretta Bartolone (Frank), Joan Granato (Sam), and Karen Vaccarella (Gary), and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
