May Traile Obituary
May Traile, 97 of the Newtonville section of Buena Vista Township passed away at her home on Saturday, November 4, 2023. Born in Columbia, South Carolina she has lived in Newtonville since 1964. before retiring she worked as a data base documentation specialist for the FAA in Egg Harbor Township.
She was an active member of ARDC (Atlantic Rural Development Coalition) where she formerly served as secretary then treasurer . She was a trail blazer for South Jersey instrumental in the groundbreaking and construction of the Martin Luther King Center and the N.J. State Police Barracks both in Buena Vista Township. She was also a member of the First Union Baptist Church in Newtonville.
She was predeceased by her husband, Christopher Traile. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Denise M. Young - Gunn and Ronald Gunn, three grandchildren, Kim Young, Larry Young, and Wayne Young, 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, her godson, Michael Simmons and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
