Obituary of Warren Spellman

Warren Knox Spellman 39, of Pleasantville departed this life suddenly on September 1st 2023. Born in Atlantic City medical center. He was a life long Atlantic county area resident. Warren attended the Hammonton public school system. He played football and baseball for the Hammonton Hawks, known as "Little Missle". He was a member of the Elwood Crusaders wrestling team. Warren held several jobs, Mutual taxi cab co. for over 15 yrs., the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and lastly employed as a cook for Tony's Baltimore Grill. Warren was an intelligent young man who owned his own taxi cab co. briefly, in Atlantic City, NJ. Warren is survived by his children, Taijanae Lane-Spellman, Shaalise Graham-Spellman and Mekhi Knox Spellman; granddaughter Sasadiah Lane-Hicks; his mother Gwendolyn Parrilla; three brothers, Bryan Harris, Byron and Michael Spellman; Four sisters, Diana Carrasquillo (Victor), Nicole Thompson, Deanna Spellman and Elisabeth Parrilla; Grandfather Clarence Mays Sr.; Godmother, Pastor Judy Cunningham; three Godbrothers, Tim Bell(Koyia), James Bell(Terra) and Mesha Bell; two Godsisters, LaTanya Pearson (Drew) and Clarissa Solomon. He is also survived by a host of Aunts, Uncles, relatives and close friends and a Special Uncle, Andrew Emory (Jeanette) who spent over 17 years in the City with his beloved nephew Warren. Both shared their love, compassion and excitement for the Kansas City Chiefs. Funeral Services will be held Friday, September 15, 2023 11:00 am in Shiloh Baptist Church, 640 Philadelphia Ave., Egg Harbor City, NJ, where a viewing will be held from 10:00 am - 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Greenmount Cemetery, Hammonton.
