Obituary of Concetta "Connie" A. Lawley

Concetta "Connie" A. Lawley (nee Fiorato), 83, of Hammonton passed away at home on Tuesday, July 18,2023. Born in Hammonton, she was a lifelong resident there. She had worked as a school teacher at Lower Camden County Regional Middle School in Winslow Township. Connie was an active member of the New Jersey Education Association, Alpha Delta Kappa - Alpha Alpha Lodge, the Hammonton Cancer Foundation, the Hammonton Historical Society, the Hammonton Republican Club and she volunteered at AtlantiCare Medical Center in Galloway Township. Connie was predeceased by her parents, Anthony Fiorato, and Marie Scoleri (nee Rodio), her step-sister, Regina Fenstemaker, her nephew, Joseph Suplee and her infant daughter. She is survived by her son, Stanley Lawley, her brother, Anthony Fiorato (Cathy), her sister, Amelia Thorton (Kevin) and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A viewing will be held on Monday, July 24, 2023 from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Anthony of Padua, 285 Route 206 in Hammonton, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery, 124 S. First Road in Hammonton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hammonton Cancer Foundation, PO Box 1066, Hammonton, NJ 08037 or to a local charity of donor's choice.
