Obituary of Mary Jane Lupsa

Mary Jane Lupsa (nee Smith), 82 of Collings Lakes passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at Jefferson Washington Township Hospital. Born in Southview, PA she has been a resident of Collings Lakes since 1968. Mary Jane had worked at Castleford Tailors in Collings Lakes, and she was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, She enjoyed being outdoors working in her yard, feeding the squirrels and hummingbirds. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, playing board games, puzzles and going to the beach. She was predeceased by her parents, John F. and Frances (nee Simpson) Smith, her grandson, Matthew Harris, her brothers, Daniel Lukasik, James Smith and Robert Lukasik, her sisters, Shirley Maga, and Kathy McDowell. She is survived by her husband, Charles Lupsa, her daughter, Lisa Bell (Robert), her grandchildren, Melissa Harris, Jamie Lynn Batt (Andrew), her great grandchildren, Kailey, Faith and Hudson, her brother, Joe Smith, her sister, Evelyn Weese, and her sisters in law, Bertha "Bobe" Smith and Marion (nee Lupsa), brother in law, Donald W. Lupsa (Betty). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A viewing will be held on Monday, July 10, 2023 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral services will take place at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery, 124 S. First Road in Hammonton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
