After his second retirement, he then went on to work for H&R Block for 4 years as well as the USPS for 8 years.
Bill was introduced to Bluegrass music at a young age and was an amazing, self-taught, accomplished musician. He played the banjo, guitar, pedal steel guitar, dobro, mandolin and bass guitar throughout his life. He played at the old Chicken Coup in Bridgeton, NJ where he played with so many of the Greats before they were great, like Hank Williams Jr, Lil Jimmy Dickens, Conway Twitty, Ernest Tubb, Lester Flatt and countless others.
Later in his life, he went on to play Bluegrass music with many musicians at Albert Hall in Waretown, NJ. He's also one of the original members of the One Way Express. He also played "Stringbean" in the 1992 Mummer's Day Parade playing the banjo.

They married in 1992 and kept playing music together all over the state and all the way to Nashville for an album they recorded with Joe Diffie's band which was 1 of their 5 albums recorded. Bill & Linda had an amazing ministry together and then changed their name from Bill & Linda Green to Won By One Ministries and continued performing at churches all over. They also had their own gospel night, "Saturday Night Alive" which was held at the Pinelands UMC for 20 years.
