Oh, this beautiful woman is now God’s angel! Charlotte was extraordinary; loving, witty, thoughtful, energetic, prayful, supportive; I could go on and on. She was everyone’s most trusted friend. There will never be another Charlotte! I don’t live in the area anymore and will miss saying goodbye but she and her family are in my prayers. God bless this wonderful woman!

You can't help but smile when you think of Charlotte, she was a "one man band!" She loved her husband Bill deeply, along with her children and the rest of her family. I did not know until today that she "suddenly" passed, a few days ago. She recently posted on Face Book about a high school play during her days at HHS. I am totally shocked! That proves when we are called, we go, and that was what it was meant to be. We don't always understand why things happen, the process of prayer prepares us with strength and courage to carry on. May God bless all of you. With Sincere Sympathy, Joanna Conn. (RIP Charlotte)

Sharing my condolences to the entire Cessato family. Praying for God's peace and comfort to surround you all during this time. I remember Charlotte as she worked with and chaperoned our band through practices, trips, and competitions back in the 70's. Always kind, helpful, and professional.. God bless her, and you all.., Ernie Chappine

I taught French next door to Charlotte at Hammonton High School. Each year she told her students a ridiculous fake history fact, intentionally. "Peter Stuyvesant, the last Governor of New York, had a peg leg from his hip to his knee." Then she waited for a student's head to pop up from his/her notes. She came to cry on my shoulder the year that not a single student questioned her! Charlotte, you are/were one in a million. Your former colleague, Jeanne Rossi Cronin.

Q: How would you describe Charlotte to someone who had never met them?
A: She was a caring and devoted teacher. I highly respected her. Always willing to help when help was needed. Although I didn't see her again after I graduated, fond memories of her continued throughout my life. Rest in peace beloved educator.
