Obituary of Albert J. Calcavecchia

Albert J. "Butch" Calcavecchia, 54 of Villas passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at AtlantiCare Medical Center in Galloway Township. Born in Stratford, NJ he was raised in Magnolia, lived most of his life in the Hammonton and Mullica Township area before moving to the Villas three years ago. Butch worked as an electrician for Kapp Electric in Cape May Courthouse. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, and he enjoyed golfing, fishing, kayaking and watching sunsets over the bay. He was predeceased by his twin brother, Lee Calcavecchia, his mother, Carmella M. Mascio and his father, Leo Calcavecchia. He is survived by his wife, Deborah (Debbie) Calcavecchia (nee Vazquez), two brothers, Michael Sheeks (Linda), Dusty Sheeks (Patty), two sisters, Cindy Carter (John) and Misty Sheeks, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Butch and Debbie have a dog named Zoey . Zoey is Daddy's girl. He loved spending time with her. He loved taking her on walks, playing frisbee or ball with her. He would take her to the beach, the bay or a lake so she could play in the water. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
