Obituary of Michael J. Caputo

Michael J. Caputo, 77, of Hammonton, NJ passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at his residence with his loving family by his side. Born in Camden, NJ he was a lifelong area resident. He was a retired master mechanic for IUOE Local 825 of Springfield, NJ. Mr. Caputo proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Trenton American Legion Post. Mr. Caputo was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his loving wife, Darlene E. Caputo (nee Keller); his son, Michael A. Caputo of Richmond, CA; his daughter, Dawn Caputo-Davison and her husband Richard of Chatham, NJ; one sister, Patricia Zebrowski of Novato, CA; his four grandchildren, Braedyn, Logan, Reagan and Dylan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Monday, April 10, 2023, 1:30 PM in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish, Church of St. Joseph's, 226 French Street, Hammonton, NJ. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. A viewing will be held Monday, April 10, 2023 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street, Hammonton, NJ.
