Obituary of Catherine D. Richards

Catherine D. Richards, 81, of Glenolden, PA., passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023, in Taylor Hospital in Ridley Park. Born in Philadelphia, PA she was a lifelong area resident. Catherine was a legal secretary in the Public Defender's Office in Delaware County, PA from 2001 until her retirement in 2019. She was a Graduate of Notre Dame High School in Moylan, PA. Catherine was a longtime member of Our Lady of Fatima RC Church; she was also a member of the American Cancer Society. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Dorothy (nee Doyle) Regan and her sister Jean Loftus and brother-in-law Thomas Loftus. Catherine is survived by her niece and Goddaughter, Kathy Mento, her husband Sam and their children, Sarah and Sam; her nephew, Tom Loftus and his wife Traci and their children, Ryan, TJ and Megan and her niece Jeanne DeNucci.
