Carmen Rosario, 79, of Hammonton passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at AtlantiCare Medical Center in Galloway Township. Carmen was born in Cidra, Puerto Rico and has lived in Hammonton since 1980. She was an active member of St. Joseph's R.C. Church in Hammonton, and was a member of the church choir. She was also a member of the Cursillo Movement. Carmen enjoyed cooking, crocheting and music.
She was predeceased b her husband, Anastacio Rosario Mendoza, and her parents, Martin Ruiz and Filomena Cruz.
She is survived by one daughter, Madeline Rosario, two sisters, Teresa Rodriguez, and Maria Vera (Fernando), many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A viewing will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral services will take place at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 124 S. First Road in Hammonton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Stroke Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
