Obituary of Carl H. Montgomery

Carl H. Montgomery, 81, of Friendswood, TX passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2023 with his loving wife by his side. Born in Philadelphia he lived in Buena for many years before moving to Texas 13 years ago and most recently moving to Hammonton. He was a sheet metal worker for the Sheet Metal Worker's Union Local No. 19. Carl served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus North American Martyrs Council 8718. He was predeceased by his mother Blanche Jackson, his brother Robert and step son Justin Phillips. Carl is survived by his wife, Cheryl M. Montgomery (nee Donahue); his children, Carl Montgomery, Jr., Scott Montgomery, Dawn Montgomery; Christopher Montgomery, his step children, Charles Phillips, Diane Richard, Deana Passamante and Kendra Bollenbach; his sister in law, Lillian Montgomery; 22 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2023, 12:30 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton where a viewing will be held from 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM.
