Obituary of Paul F. Terruso

Paul F. Terruso, 93, of Williamstown and formerly of Hammonton, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 in Jefferson Hospital Washington Township. Born in Philadelphia he grew up in Hammonton and lived there until moving to Williamstown in 2017. Paul was a self-employed master mechanic for over 50 years. Paul loved his country and proudly served in the US Marine Corps and the Naval Mobile Construction Battalion with service in Vietnam. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion F.A. Funston Post 186 in Hammonton, The Marine Corp League of Vineland, Vietnam Veterans Association; Second Marine Division Association and the Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 40 (MCB40). Paul was an integral part of the Terruso Racing Team with Mario "Junior" and Richie. He was predeceased by his parents, Catherine and Mario Terruso and his brothers, Anthony, Mario, Jr., and Richie. Paul is survived by his partner of 48 years, Donna Hamernick; his sons, Michael and Mario, Sr. and his daughters, Paula Bellone and Cheryl May, 7 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Monday, Nov. 21, 2022 8:00 PM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, NJ, where a viewing will be held from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Burial will be held Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022, 10:00am at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veteran Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to CHOP, Shiner's or St. Jude's Hospital.
