Aunt Betty you will be missed. I have so many fond memories of you over the years. I couldn't wait for my birthday card every single year growing up! Gosh, $5.00 went a long way back then. I remember how much fun it would be to go to your pool in the summer - and eat such delicious food. I remember you and Uncle Joe visiting me in college, and what fun we had touring around Washington, DC together. What a great trip! And I remember always stopping off to visit you on my way to or from college - especially that time I didn't put my emergency break on my car and it rolled out of your driveway, across the street, and into your neighbors front yard. Luckily nothing happened or no one was hurt. I think your wonderful spirit helped us avoid something worst! I'm very sorry we never had a chance to say goodbye. And I'm sorry I couldn't be there today - but I heard my mom represented us - and especially you - so well. But I am happily making a contribution to St. Jude's in your honor.

Betty was always such a sweet soul. Caring for everybody and putting herself last. Always a beautiful smile on her face. She would call Jim and I and if she didn't reach us her message was always Hi Jim and Linda it's your favorite sister Betty call me back when you have a minute. Love you. We will miss that message and her but always have her in our hearts.
