Obituary of Marisa A. Salvati

Marisa A. Salvati, 88, of Hammonton passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022 at Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden. Born in Rome, Italy she was a resident of Hammonton for sixty years. She had worked at Hammonton Park Clothes in Hammonton, and was a member of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union. She enjoyed cooking, making homemade macaroni and Sunday dinners with her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Gualtiero Salvati, her daughter in law, Linda Salvati, her brothers, Fausto and Mario and her sisters, Lella, and Vincenza. She is survived by four sons, John Salvati, Steve Salvati, Robert Salvati (wife:Sandra) and Mario Salvati, nine grandchildren, Lori, Mark (wife:Andrea), David, Jessica, Jenna, Alyssa, Allison (husband:Adam), Matteo and Nicholas, five great grandchildren, and her sisters, Anna and Marcella. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Joseph's, 226 French Street in Hammonton, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Mass will be live-streamed at: St Mary Mt Carmel Facebook. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 124 S. First Road in Hammonton.
