Obituary of Joseph S. Polisano

Joseph S. Polisano, 79, of Galloway passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at his residence. Born in Philadelphia, PA he resided in Galloway the past 38 years. He did tractor trailer repairs for Atlantic Trailer Leasing Corp. of Vincentown. Joseph was known by many as "the mandolin guy," " Papa Joe" or "Uncle Joe." He was a longtime member of Harvest Church in Hammonton, where he played on the worship team for many years. He also served as a Deacon at the church. Joseph was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Mary and his sister, Francis Giordano. He is survived by his loving wife, Carla Polisano (nee Campanelli); his son, Joseph M. Polisano and his wife Bonnie, his daughter, Angela M. Polisano; and his grandchildren, Lia and Natalie. Joseph is also survived by his half brother, Vincent Polisano, his half sister, Rosemarie Johnson and his nieces and nephews, Frank and Dottie Giordano, Lena Giordano (the late Joe), Mary and John Entrekin and Tom and Lyn Giordano. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022 10:30 AM at Harvest Church, 272 Route 206, Hammonton where a viewing will be held from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in Laurel Memorial Park, Egg Harbor Township. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Harvest Church Missions, 272 Rte. 206, Hammonton, NJ.
