Obituary of Nadine "Dee" Juestrich
Please share a memory of Nadine to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Nadine "Dee" Juestrich (nee Galli), 86 of Dresher, PA and formerly of Hammonton, NJ passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Jefferson Abington Hospital. Born in Paterson, NJ she was a resident of Hammonton for sixty years before moving to Dresher three years ago. Dee was a graduate of Hawthorne High School and graduated from Douglass College with a degree in History. Before retiring, she worked a teachers aide in the transitional first grade at the Hammonton Elementary School for 20 years.
Dee's high school yearbook quote was "to make someone happy" and in her eighty six years, she certainly fulfilled that goal. She was an active member of the Hammonton community, serving as President of the Women's Civic Club, Den mother of the Boys Scouts of America and President of the Hammonton Band Boosters. She, along with her husband, Tony, was also involved with the church as a Pre Cana instructor. She loved dancing, music, theatre, and art. Dee was a great artist and a big sports fan especially of the Phillies, Eagles and Penn State football. Above all she was a devoted wife, friend and a beautiful, supportive and loving mother with a big incredible smile.
She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Anthony J. Juestrich, her parents, Edgar and Aurora Galli, and brother Edgar Galli. She is survived by her three children, Steven Justrich, Paul Juestrich (Christine), and Nancy Davidheiser (Scott), one granddaughter, Maya Davidheiser, and her niece and nephew Rachel Galli and Jonathan Galli.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, where funeral services will take place at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow at Greenmount Cemetery, 124 S. First Road, Hammonton, NJ.
